Subject: routine times when travelling - by: 1st Timer http://www.moomie.co.za/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=7&id=224076&Itemid=82#224076 http://www.moomie.co.za/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=7&id=224076&Itemid=82#224076
My family and I see going to Mauritius for 7 nights next month with our 25 month old. Mauritius is 2h ahead of SA so I was thinking of just keeping him on his SA schedule. I.e wake up at 8am Mauritius time and bed at 9pm (instead of 7pm in SA)? That way he can eat dinner with us at 7pm. They do have babysitters there but they are expensive and he won't know them which will be an issue. He doesn't nap in the day anymore.

Do you think this will work or am I likely to end up with a 9pm bedtime, a 6am wake up and an exhausted bratty terrible two!?

Thoughts?

Thanks!]]>

I picked him up from school yesterday and they had taken all his warm bits off (shoes jacket socks!) anyway, i think he caught a cold and today he is suddenly coughing. no runny nose or fever..
Any advise on how to quickly get rid of it? We've been on such a winning streak with no illness this winter and I'd obviously like to keep it that way. He is difficult enough at the best of times
Thanks!]]>

Subject: Please pray for this child - 5y old brain cancer - by: Esmari http://www.moomie.co.za/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=13&id=224060&Itemid=82#224060 http://www.moomie.co.za/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=13&id=224060&Itemid=82#224060
Let me just begin by saying that this is not a hoax......

Little Estiaan Nel is 5y old, and is in Lize-Mari's school. In April he was diagnosed with brain cancer. 40% of the tumor was taken out. He is fighting for his life in Red Cross Childrens Hospital, awaiting further treatment.

Here is a link to his FB page: www.facebook.com/EstiaanSeJourneyOfHope

And also a link to newspaper article: www.georgeherald.com/news.aspx?id=26998&...T7TIiDubmA0.facebook

His parents does not have a MA, and they would also appreciate any help they can get. All the details are on his FB page.

Please, if all you can give is a prayer for him and his parents.......]]>
