What has attachment parenting tought you?

My lb is just over 2 years and I am so pleased I chose attachment parenting. I totally agree with the patience bit, I have definitely learnt to not sweat the small stuff and that tough times don't last forever. I spent many sleepless nights with my little boy and chose to ignore all the comments from people saying I should use the cry it out method. I loved the closeness I had with him in our bed when he was small and our cuddly breastfeeding sessions!

I now have a cuddly, confident, happy little man who still likes mommy's cuddles but sleeps in his big boy bed! Can't wait for my second baba to arrive so I can do the exact same things again.

I have 3 children and as we all know our children teach us all sorts of things daily. We learn a lot about ourselves through our children. One thing I have learnt only due to practicing Attachment parenting exclusively with my 3rd child is that I have ALOT of patience, so much more then I ever thought was possible. This is a bit thing for me because I always thought I was a patient person but in retrospect I see I really was not.
